The Team

My goal is to drive the company’s mission to make solar energy simple and accessible. With over 20 years of industry experience, I lead a customer-first approach, helping homeowners and businesses take charge of their energy needs and power Switzerland’s energy transition.

Two pillars make up my responsibilities:

1. Customers and product: making sure that customers get the best combinations of products and services (product, marketing, and sales)

2. Partnerships and acquisitions: partnering is an integral component of our strategy, and so is acquiring companies in the energy space in Switzerland.

As Head of Finance, I keep the numbers clear and the cash flowing, making sure all locations follow the same financial playbook, spotting savings, supporting deals, and giving the team and investors a clear picture of how the business is really doing.

Dr. Roland Böhi is an entrepreneurially minded, experienced lawyer with extensive expertise in strategy and leadership and regularly advises entrepreneurs on a wide range of issues. With his in-depth expertise in tax and corporate law and experience in various industries, he provides significant support to Swiss Solar Group AG in its strategic growth, financial structuring, and long-term sustainability.

Dr. Philipp Hofstetter is an accomplished leader with expertise in international business and sustainable energy. He brings a wealth of experience to Swiss Solar Group AG, where he plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic initiatives and driving its commitment to renewable energy solutions.

Christoph Sutter is an experienced entrepreneur and energy expert with 25 years of experience in establishing and managing companies in the renewable energy sector. As the founder of South Pole and emost, and long-time head of the renewable energy business unit at Axpo, he brings in-depth expertise in solar energy, storage solutions, and climate protection projects. With his industry experience and international network, he supports the company in its strategic growth and successful positioning in the energy market.
